True Skate is an arcade sports game for mobile platforms. The game was created by True Axis, the authors of the popular Jet Car Stunts 2 app, which is a kind of simplified mobile equivalent of the Trackmania cycle.

Game mechanics

Simply put, True Skate is a skateboard simulator. It is an interesting form of fun in which you "skate" on miniature skateboards using your fingers. In this way, you can perform various techniques known from real skateboarding, both basic, such as ollie, nollie or kickflip, and more advanced, such as backside 180 kickflip.

In this game, of course, we don't use our smartphone like a little skateboard, but we do appropriate gestures on the device's touch screen. For example, by swiping your finger toward the "backside" of the skateboard, bring the "front side" of the skateboard up. Touching it on the sides, twist and draw arcs and do a kickflip. As we progress, we'll discover new features. For example, slowing down time and the ability to undo a failed attempt.

True Skate, just like in real competitions, uses different obstacles to perform tricks. We can jump from stairs, perform tricks on ramps and so on.
