Diablo Immortal is a mobile version of the popular RPG series called Diablo. The game was developed by the Chinese company NetEase. This developer specializes in free-to-play games aimed at the East Asian market. The process of creating the game was overseen by specialists from Blizzard Entertainment, which owns the rights to the franchise. Diablo Immortal was announced in early November 2018 at the BlizzCon convention.

Diablo Immortal Plot

The story presented in Diablo Immortal takes place between the events known from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III. Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead. After the destruction of the Soulstone, remnants of the demonic power still lurk in the shadows, periodically casting curses on peaceful humans. One of the surviving demons, Skarn, former Lieutenant Diablo, decides to assemble a new army of hellish servants and collect the shards of the Soul Stone. If he accomplishes his mission, then the ancient evil will be reborn.

Mechanics

Diablo Immortal remains a classic action-RPG, with gameplay presented in isometric projection. Compared to the original from PC and consoles, the game has a different control scheme - players use the touch screen to move the characters and press special icons to attack. The mobile version of Diablo offers a total of six character classes, each with several unique special skills. During the game, we fight dozens of monsters, explore locations representing different corners of the Sanctuary, where at the end we will face huge bosses.
